Schools' library service
The Schools’ Library Service provides a range of services which support teaching
and learning. These are offered as part of the standard Service Level Agreement .
Resources available to borrow include:
- Project loan boxes
- Large format books
- Story sacks with puppets
- Guided reading sets
- Modern Foreign Language Books
We can plan and support literacy events and book/reading clubs at your school.
We are able to provide storytelling and poetry sessions, including the use of puppets where appropriate.
We can help your pupils develop information skills using your school library or linked with specific subjects.
Interactive Quizzes, similar to “Who Wants to be Millionaire”, are available for up to 30 pupils to play at once, each with their own handset. These can be general book quizzes or tailored to specific needs.
