Shelby Harrison and Lauren Hunt
Artwork looked at:
- Noah and his family leaving the Ark by Adam Colonia 1663

- Mirror by Edward Welby Pugin and Argustus Welby Northmore Pugin, c. 1861-1874 (Image unavailable)
- Nearing Camp, Evening on the Upper Colorado River, Wyoming by Thomas Moran, 1882

- Japanese Ivory figurine, artist unknown (Image unavailable)
Shelby and Lauren devised a ‘Treasure Hunt’ that took the visitors to different areas of the Art Gallery. They wanted their presentation to appeal to 7-10 years.
For their presentation they:
- Introduced the audience to the Art Gallery and to the idea that prizes could be won!
- Gave a clue for the children to find an artwork e.g. “The Animals went two by two, but how did they get there, I don’t know, but do you?”
- Once the artwork was found, some more information was given and questions asked. The clue for the subsequent artwork could be found by the current artwork.
- Once all artwork had been found, Shelby and Lauren awarded ‘Certificates of Achievement’ to the participating children.
