Enquiries and handling charges
Written, telephone or e-mail enquiries
Up to 15 minutes of research conducted free of charge.
£2 handling charge (plus normal charges) payable for all requests requiring:
- Any number of photocopies to be returned by post
- Microfilm or microfiche copies by post
- Whole map copies or part map copies to be returned by post
- Enquiries requiring five copies from different maps to be returned by post
- Any microfilming, scanning or digital images
- Users wishing to purchase complete copies of materials may be asked to pay for the costs of microfilming the item. This covers the cost of making the masters and a usable copy for the Bolton History Centre as well as the cost of the film for the customer's use. This facility will be subject to copyright and ownership agreements.

£5.20 handling charge (plus normal charges)

Postage
Dependant on weight and destination. A minimum of 50 pence is charged for postage and packaging.
